I have a 4AWG lead going to the back of my vehichle. I have a 8 AWG bridged off of the 4 AWG that is driving a 500 watt amp for the main speakers. I am getting a JL Audio 1000/1 that I will be using for my SUBs. If I conenct the JL Audio 1000/1 to the 4awg lead that is in the back, will it hurt the amp? or the vehichle? or will it just draw what it can and reduce the output of the amp accordingly?
