Tuesday, December 20, 2005 - 02:27 GMT yea I purchased 2 sheets of 3/4 mdf board for $20 bucks. The only thing with mdf board is that it will give you a hard time by splitting if you countersink the hole before you drill the screw in. believe me, its a nightmare

Tuesday, December 20, 2005 - 12:57 GMT NoLimit, people generally use MDF. You can glass yourself a box into your car, but probably use MDF to make a speaker ring and frame inside the glass for strength. Especially if you're running a lot of power to your sub, that stuff will vibrate.
