2 or 4 OHM subs?

I am planning on buying a couple Kicker S12L7's but i am wondering if i should buy the 2 ohm model or the 4 ohm? what are the difference?

if u must buy those subs get the 4ohms dual voice coil model - it will make cheaper getting an amp 4 them .......

the l7's are good if your're just wanting spl..no sq though

i think you could could something better probably even a little cheaper still with good spl but add some sq to it

4 the price of those L7s u could get a pair of Alpine type X & it would be just as loud but sound a ton better ..........

well for cheap : 2 12'' alpine type r's ( around $130 each on certain websites ) should do it

alpine is only 2ohm stable, so you need dual 2 or single 4 subs....
