Anybody know what to do if you put sound deadening in your trunk and cover everything except the back seat? What do you do about the weather stripping seal around the trunk?
you can add weather stripping on both sides of the seal if you want, will make trunk close tighter, or you can adjust the latch to pull the trunk closed tighter. not much else you can do. i've seen people cut strips of dynamat and put there too. did i get what your asking??

Yeah, thanks alot. I think I'll try putting new weather stripping on both sides, that sounds good.
just an after thought here sealing your trunk tight will help get rid of rattle which is why i assume you are doing this but just so you know sometimes sealing up your trunk can hurt your original spl score ...I just mentioned this so you would no it happens in case spl is your primary target some day
