Sometime you can find this amp for less on Ebay. This is a new amp for "05" and it is extremely hard to keep on the shelf due to its size (100 watts at 4 ohms), and it being of decent quality. The Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.5" components are almost the best matchup with this amp. They complement each other extremely well.

Considering that you may find the amp for less on ebay, you are within your budget of $500, and you will definetly be impressed with this upgrade.

I guarantee it.

That car takes 4x6 in the front doo and 6x9 in rear, you can use the infinity ref 6412cfp(like a component)Ebay $60delivered and use the infinity kappa 693.7i 6x9 in rear(about 160 delivered and the infinity 7541 4 channel for around 200.

Both of our recommendations have tweeters.

I am uncertain if his recommendations come with crossovers. They probably come with just a cap on the tweeter(s), but no crossover for the midrange/full range driver.

IMHO I would recommend a setup with a decent crossover to protect the drivers, and to deliver a smooth clean response.

My recommendations would require some modifications to fit, possibly an extensive modification such as a kick pod or a spacer, and perhaps some cutting to fit door applications. They would sound better though. It is up to you on how much of an upgrade you want to go with.

Some people preffer to have just the front stage speakers and delete the rear fill speakers out. This way you only need a two channel amp.

Either way you would have a better setup than the original stock ones.
