alright so, i decided to replace the factory system in my 00' silverado. i had a jvc cd player installed at best buy and i recently bought these pioneer ts-a1671r speakers. I installed one of these myself tonite because the factory one was totally blown. problem is the new speaker doesnt sound near as loud and sounds crappier than the factory one did. i took off the door panel, took the old speaker out, wired up the new speaker, and bolted it onto the door. is there any reason for it not being as loud or as responsive as my old ones or did i just mix up the polarity and wire the wrong ones. please help????!?!
no, just the standard old stuff, the truck is 2door, no power window or lock. i do not have an amp or anything but 50 watts should be coming from my cd player.
