I am looking for a fairly cheap 2 way pager type alarm. I dont care about remote start. I was also wondering how hard an alarm is to install and or how much one usually costs to get installed? Thanks
It seems that there aren't a lot posting in this forum. I have a hornet 555T installed for around $500 but it came with a remote start. I have seen a lot of cheap 2-way alarm listed on ebay but I don't know how good they are. Installing alarm is not that complicated but it does take some time. For a good alarm installation, it should start from $100 and up depending on what else you want install, like trunk release, different zones, motion detection, battery backup, inside horn, etc... It can get expensive fast. Hope this help may be somebody can chime too.
