it wouldn't be good by comparison to other decent subs it may be alright for you. if you listen to the sub and think they sound alright or suit your needs then you should go for it. SQ is subjective. its just that the square kicker subs when compared to other subs middle of the line and maybe even entry level cheaper subs do not sound as good. they've been critisized for not having a clear sound and sounding muddy.
