there are plenty more top brands than those, but of the 3 i would take the focals.
quarts have downgraded since the buy out. unless you can catch some of their older models, they are no longer top shelf comps. they are now "an affordable option."
havn't heard beymas, but those i know who have say they are LOUD and trashy. havn't heard them personally though. pg isn't on the same stage as the focals either. if you don't mind slightly harsh highs and you have a good eq, focals will do well, but you could do better, imo (like a more neutral set).

The Phoenix Gold Ti Elites are built by Morel and are excellent. Other than that, PG isn't all that great. You may as well just get Morel Elates, at least you can claim you have Morels (which have an excellent reputation) and not PG (which has a crappy reputation).

Focals: Love em or hate em. I'm not a big fan, but they are highly regarded and do sound good if they're your preference.

Beymas, I've heard mixed opinions, but haven't heard the speakers to tell you anything.

Quart, the Q series/QSD are good. Not sure what will happen after the Maxxsonics buyout, though.

I'd recommend you also check out SEAS, Morel, Dynaudio, DLS, and Rainbow.

SEAS

I don't know if any of them would ship to Greece or not.

Dynaudio dealer in Greece:
http://www.dynaudio.de/eng/auto/dist_europe_det.php?dist_europe_id=12?sid=439b43 434a10a

Morel dealer in Greece:

You'd probably have to email Rainbow for dealer info, they're hard to get. Main website is this:
http://www.rainbow-car-audio.de/

That should give you some options to look at, anyway. Out of your above list, I'd take the Focals.

Good thing is the Morel and Dyn dealers aren't terribly too far from you from what I remember of Greek geography.

I had to rebuild the tranny. That's done, I'm just taking the system out and fixing up the interior a bit, getting it ready to sell to a friend. Paint job is crap, but he wants it for the same reason I did. The truck did it's job, but I'm about to get an F-150 and say goodbye to this beater.

Assuming they are within your budget, Morel Elates are the top of Morels lineup. Morel Elate 9 3 ways run around $1500 US and require at least 200W RMS. The Morel Hybrid Ovations are an excellent speaker as well and are cheaper.

For ease of installation, the Morel Integras are very nice. If you wanted to go custom, you could use an active crossover and combine the Morel Elate 6 midbass with the Morel Supremo tweeter.

These are just some options with Morel speakers and doesn't mean you should x out your other options. I encourage you to do some listening to their equipment and see what you think.

Hi Jonathan... Here in Greece i find Speakers Morel in that prices..

HYBRID OVATIONS 6" = 419 EURO (335 EURO with the discount because Morel celebrated 30 years )

SUPREMO tweeters / pair = 359 EURO (287 EURO with discount)

ELATE 2-way 6" = 469 EURO

DOTECH MKII 6" = 239 EURO

* only HYBRID OVATIONS and SUPREMO have the discount...

I'm thinking to buy hybrid ovations 6" (160 rms ) and supremo tweeters .
Elate has 200 rms power, I think that i will be satisfacted with 160 rms and supremo ..If you think that my logic is not right tell it or tell me what do you will do if you are in my position ...

Morel speakers is better placing front or back..
if front i know that i will buy a panel and i will need DYNAMAT..

and i will buy 2 more speakers with maxium power 100 rms ...

beyma 100 rms midrange (16.5")& tweeter 35 rms (3.5")

DLS http://www.12voltshop.gr/pd-914396578.htm?categoryId=24

DynAudio
http://www.speakersound.com/index.html?loadfile=itemda240eso.html

i can't find Rainbow speakers do you think it's better to push myself to find them or i will be ok with that speakers ( beyma, focal, dls,DynAudio)

and where do you suggest placing that ?

thank you ..

The Hybrid Ovations are excellent, and will pair well with the Supremo tweeter. The Elate woofer is better, but not by a huge amount, and whether you'll want it or not will depend on how much you want to spend.

I recommend you place them up front, preferably in a kick panel location or low doors. Unless you have rear passengers, I would skip the rear fill and just focus on the front speakers. If you do want rear fill, I'd recommend you put some Morel midbasses to match timbre (not necessarily the best, just some solid ones for rear fill).

DLS and Morel are very similar (Morel used to build DLS drivers) that you may just not worry about listening to them.

Morel and Dynaudio are also very similar (Morel licenses a lot of their technology from Dynaudio). Dynaudios tend to be a little more smooth and natural sounding, Morels have a little more oomph to them, more attack in the midbass region and a little more shimmer to the compact tweeters. The differences are very subtle, though.

Rainbows are excellent speakers, but I can't really say whether it'll be worth finding them or not. If you were to get comparable Rainbows, you'd want the Rainbow Platinums, which are very expensive but excellent speakers. They go for over $3000 US, can't really say what they'll cost in Europe since they're built in Germany. I'd guess they're a bit cheaper.
