Connect Old Car Radio to Mains Electricity

Anonymous

Hello,

I have an old car radio that I want to connect up to normal "household" electricity.

The radio has 4 wires coming out the back of it - green, blue, grey & red (with a fuse on it)
It also has a thick black wire with a connection at the end. I think it is for the car antennae.

I know when it was connected in the car, the left speaker was connected to the blue & green, and the right was connected to the grey & green (the green had a wire from each speaker). The red wire with the fuse was connected to the battery or ignition I assume. And the black to the antenna.

I think I'll need to use a 12V adapter, but do know how to connect it all.

Please could someone advise (diagrams are more than welcome).

Thanks
Steve
