i was looking to buy a bp1200.1 jbl amp to power the fockford fosgate power hx2 subwoofer i have. I need to know if the amp is too much for the sub? I heard this amp really is underrated, and actually puts out like 1400 watts, is this gonna be too much for a sub that can only handle 1000 watts rms and 2000 watts max? Just looking for some opinions on this one... thanks
