Tuesday, November 29, 2005 - 20:35 GMT I have a 2 channel 4 Ohm amp,and a 4 Ohm dvc sub.how can I wire the sub,I mean I know how to wire it but i mean is it better to under or overload the amp cause if i wire the sub in parallel itl be 2 ohms but if series itl be 8 or can i just put a coil a channel what should i do.

Tuesday, November 29, 2005 - 20:41 GMT if its 4ohms on each channel of your amp then run 1 channel / coil of your sub .......

Tuesday, November 29, 2005 - 21:00 GMT 2 chan amps are supposed 2 put out = wrms on each channel so i won't worry about it but if u hook up the polarity wrong ! - well thats like instant sub death , 1 coil pulling north 1 pulling south ........
