Good choice

was two 12" audiobahn alumn series subs a good choice. they run about 1000 watts rms and they are a 6ohm dual voice coil. just wondering if these are good and what kind of amp i should get to run these.

sorry, but your not gunna get many people on here to tell you that audiobahn is a good choice. they just dont have good quality and they have a fairly high failure rate

Well in any case running 2 DVC 6-ohm subs is not a good choice simply becuase you can only wire them to 6-ohms or 1.5-ohms. Which isn't a good match for many amps.

DVC 6 ohm subs were meant to be used in groups of 3, so you could do a series/parallel and come out with a 4 ohm load, perfect for a bridged 2 channel amp.
