Do all wattages of subs sound the same? like say a 100w 10 and 12 will they be at the same level of louness or is it dependant on the design and size of the sub.

12's move more air,but if its the same model sub there wont be much of a difference

it depends on how much extortion is put on the subs and how they can handle it, in most cases 10" quality subwoofers will easily take 100 watts rms of clean power, that 100 watts would have to work harder pushin more air.
