i know i posted before, but i only game 2 options. i will be putting this setup into a durango with no 3rd seating. what is my best bet if i'm looking for pure sound quality, but loud. please give me some examples. chauncey had suggested i stay with (2) 13 w6v2's. i was wondering what anybody else thought? i was really hoping to stick with jl, i know, i am on the wagon right???i have been a fan since the old 6's and the ppi art series to run them. awesome combo if i do say so myself. well, get back to me with some more feedback. i am open to hearing suggestions about other subwoofers, but it will be hard to change my mind about not buying jl.
i don't know what that means, they are both jl. i have heard a 10 w7 hooked up to a 500/1. i was impressed with the sq, but i didn't hit loud, not really at all. my 1 500/1 was hooed up to the old school w6 v1's and my system was way louder than his 1 10 w7. but i don't know how much better it would sound with 2 amps. it sux not being able to actually listen to what you wanna buy when your spending that much money. my brother had purchased some subs at circuit city. he bought the comp vr's and a kicker amp. circuit city let him bring out everything he wanted to listen to.
i sat in a bronco that had 6 13W7's and 6 1000/1's with i think 2 or 3 component sets in each door. can't remember what powered them, everything was JL though. it made you sick to sit in seriously!! wall, each sub had its own ported box right behind the driver/passenger seats.
the guy had JUST finished having them (hifi buys) install 6 12W6v2's. all xtant powered.
i guess W6v2's weren't enough, lol. i wish i had that kind of money to blow.
Chauncey, for sh.ts and giggles i punched the numbers from ebay, thoes 8 subs and amps are gonna run you around $11,000 depending on exactly which person you get them from of course. that would definally be loud as hell though!! my 1 is loud enough for me
