I've had these subs for awhile..was just too lazy to post this though...
I got a box built for me.. It's probably around 3-3.5 cu.ft... Unfortunately thats way too big for what I wanted, but right now it's all I have... I tried powering them with 280 watts, from an infinity amp(meaning good power) and they didn't do much, just played the music, moved a lot. I guess you could say there was no bass at all... Would this be because of the box or not enough power?

Check to make sure your amp settings are correct. Maily the subsonic filter...

No SS filter on amp...(7541A) I tried playing around with the gains, and frequencies and found nothing... I had them wired at 8 ohm... so it wouldnt be 280ish... Unfortunately they're siliconed in. Would it be worth it to take them out and try wiring them in parallel? They are DVC4Ohm...

I have had them hooked up to a home amplifier, (H/K Citation 16)and a Crown XLS-602 and they did the same thing.. No bass, lots of movement.

maybe your subs are out of phase. switch the polarity ( the + and -) on one of the subs.
