is it a bad idea to put a 3/4" plexy glass top on my down fire box so that when i look down on my box i see the subs downfiring?

not necessarily a bad idea. if you dont know what ur doing, then probably. but if done correctly it will be fine.

It still cant understand why people want to see their subs inside a box.
IMO it would be ok to have a plexi window if you wanted it.

its a show-off/display thing . Piece of 3/4 plexi might get expensive though....

its not a show off or display thing...my dad use to install and custom make systems for high end clients and ive always been into the whole customizing your system so that its not like you everyday system...

umm...why use plex if its not to show off your install?

isnt that like an oxymoron or something?
(kinda like saying pyle is high quality...lol, i couldnt help myself.)
