Hello all, I wanted to get your advice, altough it is too late to see if I messed up or got a good sytem.

I have a Memphis ST 500D that is currently hooked up to a couple of Bazooka 1024 Subs, 10 inch. Now, the subs are 4 ohm dual voice coil and can only be hooked up at 4 ohm load on the amp I have, so I decided to go ahead and order som Cerwin Vega subs, both 10 inch and single voice coils 4 ohms, which will place a 2 ohm load on the amp, therefore double the power at 500X1 at 2 ohms rather than 250 watts at 4 ohms that I have now.

Does this rig sound right and did I make a good decicion? I hope so, I have had heard good things about Kicker and other brands of subs but I did have some really Kick A** Cerwin Vega Home speakers a few years ago and I really liked them so I figured that this was a good brand. Can anyone say if I made a good decision? I will keep the group posted once I have them hooked up. Thanks!!!
