Kenwood X859 wont eject

a while ago my cd stopped ejecting. The face starts to rotate, but it stops before its moved enough for the cd to fit out, then the cd ejects into this and the whole thing stops working until I manually push the cd back in, turn it off, and back on.

For whatever reason i figured it was the ribbon cable, so replaced that, but it wasn't. It also sometimes doesn't rotate all the way around, goign about 2/4ths of the way, then coming back the other way. Could this mean that the motor that drives it is bad? It sometimes makes it, and the motor turns. To me it seems like it simply gives up rotating too soon, like the sensor to stop it registers prior to it actually going far enough.

Anyway, i dont have a clue what to try, or look at, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

If you're absolutely sure the flex cable is good, then I would guess there is a bad solder connection or component...too hard to tell without troubleshooting it.
