New member Username: TheblueRochester, NY Post Number: 1 Registered: Nov-05 | ok, I need some help from the experts. what I have: An Eclipse 3434 head unit Focal Polyglass Components powered by Zapco 350.2 JL 12W6v2 powered by a Zapco 500.1 Zapco SymbiLink balenced Lines from the headunit to the amps Optima Red Top (battery relocated to trunk) 1 Fared Cap. problem areas: (1) the highs roll off too harsh for my liking. (2) the loud exhaust on my car cancels out mid-bass. what I think needs to be done: (1) a tube pre (2) either a better headunit (but I love the one I have) or get a equilizer. so, having read all of this (hopefully) what would you guys recommend I try? I've been looking at the Eclipse 21010 6-Band Equalizer and the Soundstream M TUBE-8. Let's call the budget around $200 (otherwise I might as well just get a better headunit) thanks in advance.
