I have a KDC-MP8017 in my Nissan truck. What is currently hooked up in the truck is a 1-farad cap, a old MTX crossover, and an old indash kenwood EQ. All this connects to my mids and highs VIA an old amp.
This all worked fine for a long time but all of a sudden when listening to the radio, the volume starts out normally then fades to absolute silence. The power is still on all items and I just had my battery replaced, and the alternator tested fine.
IT takes less than a minute usually to do this from the time I turn the car on.
