i went with what u said and im gunna order a RE SX 12", i think my brother is gunna grab one to, instead of buying a Alum12q of my buddy, cant wait till dec 5...marshall white told me that it would handle a Hifonics BX1605D, i was alittle confused b/c it is 1600rms@1ohm...but i jsut figurd he was tryin to tell me it was alittle overrated or that the re was underated...could u clear this up please...(it says the SX is 1000rms on the site)

killer

the bx1605d wont put out 1600w, maybe 1200-1300. The SX would handle that easily.

I have a 15" SX for $230 shipped. let me know if you're interested. it's basically brand new, only an hour or so of play

now if i had say one set of 6.9's running off the h/u and a set of components running off an amp, and possible maybe another set of 6.9s or 5 1/4 running off the rear channels of the h/u would the sub drown out the vocals or should i be fine...

the SX is too much for me, sadly enough. I think I'm going to go for an all out SQ setup with a single 10" or 12" sealed along with the new AA comps when they come out.

your idea of low bass, i would imagine, doesnt even dip into the 20s. 30hz is pretty low

26hz IMHO, was a little low even for the Ava. I lost a little too much up the upper extension. 30hz would be a lot better.
