I would say the diamond is a MUCH better unit then teh DEI piece. If you decide to buy the diamond at a diamond dealer, and have it installed by them, it will carry a lifetime warranty. |

As far as service if you buy online, I'm sure Diamond will still fix their products for a price. It's just like any other product you buy online. You have to decide if the outrageous price in an audio shop is worth the warranty. Would you rather take a chance and get the D612D4s for $150 each online, or would you rather get the warranty and pay $350+ per sub at a local shop? It comes down to your budget and pretty much luck as to how long your subs last. |
