This is probably going to sound stupid. When your wiring to amps up do you just split the remote wire to go to both of them? I don't know anything about this is why I'm asking.
if the trigger is only for two amps, then yes just splice the wire for both. as you add more devices, you'd want to consider using a bosch relay to boost the 12V signal current a bit, but with just two amps, the head unit should supply plenty of signal level current.
