there bigger so it takers it longer to kepp hitting i use to have a escort with 4 12s in it i use to compete i did 150db jl subs and a kicker amp 3-4 street class i beat a kid with a wall of 2 15s i use to have one of the loudest cars around i took a world rec in that class
12s sound better cuz then be a sq sub and a comp sub if u get a decent sub say like a jl w3 (excample) or ever heard of powerbase i have 2 10s and im runnin a crossfire bmf 1000class d amp dvc 4ohm subs
