I want to slot port the box []
My subs (ma1200XL) manual explains as so:
ported space: 2cuft
tuning freq: 40hz
slot port area: 25 cu in
slot port length: 16 in
My Questions
should the end of the port (in the box) be really close to the back wall?
If not can I shorten it and maintain a 40hz tune?
Are slot ports known for having unwanted noise, if so how do I lessen it?
Also, whats the deal with 2 subs sharing 1 port?
What are the pros and cons? |
