mtx is still one of my choices but i noticed a couple people mentioned alpine as a choice.. i dont know much about alpine ive never heard any but would you go with 2 12'' type r or step up and get one type x?

2 type Rs would be loud and have some SQ.
type Xs are sq subs but can get kind loud. it just depends on what you are looking for.

i just dont know about alpine that much..ive heard from some of my buddies that mtx is better choice than alpine and ive heard mtx before and thats what i think im goin to go with. Now the only thing i cant make my mind up on is 2 10'' 8500 or one 12'' or 15'' 9500's

If u have space do the 2 Rs instead . 2 12s subs will have the advantage over the similar 12" brand that has double the power due to 2 having more cone surface ,pushing more air & a 3DB advantage too ...

Surprisingly too - 2 12s Rs costs the same & someplaces less than a 12 single X........
