Ok, I have 4 Pioneer 3 ways. I am getting a Kicker KX150.2 (75rmsX2) to power my speakers. Would it be worth it to take out the 4 speakers and replace them with 1 set of components up front? I get an insane discount at CC so buying something from there would be preferable. Out of the following which is the best...

Infinity Reference
MTX 6-1/2" Speaker (TX6001)
Kicker 6 1/2" Speakers (KS6.2)
or (if it would make a MAJOR upgrade over the others) Alpine Type R's. It would be about 30-40$ for the Infinity and Kicker compared to about 70 for MTX and 100 for Alpine.

out of the 4 the R's sounded best to me
the type R's are 4 ohm speakers the kicker is 75 rms at 2 ohms
you would have to get a kx250.2

MTX's and Kickers components really not worth looking into? And personally, for you, why don't you like the references? Doesn't have good SQ, SPL, or is it too bright etc.?

Diamond Audio, Pioneer Premier, MB Quart, Soundstream, and Alpine Type Rs...Look into those brands for components. Might be a little costly but well worth it :-)
