I'm in the process of replacing the door speakers in my Monte & was wondering if any of you have ever installed a component set in one. They have a very small 4" stock speaker now. I would love to put a pair of 6.5's but I doubt they would fit maybe 5.25's. I want to try to stay away from cutting up my door panels ( I'm a newbie & would ruin them). Any suggestions on brand size would be appreciated.
Please help Anyone? @ least help me with suggestions on some good component sets & a good amp to power them. I'm on a limited budget around $400 for the amp & speakers.
