For my honda accord 99 ex coupe. 6 speaker factory set w/ tweeters, i have 2 options:

1. should i buy a 4 channel amp to power my factory speakers?

2. or should i buy a component set of speakers (un amped)?

which would create better sound?
dont say both...

if the entire system including the ehad unit is stock, neither of those will improve the system much.
you could always add a self amplified sub to round out the system though like the Infinity basslink or an SAS Bazooka tube.

i have an alpine 9811. 50 x 4 watts. 2 10" type s subs powered by a rockford fosgate rf x1.

so i have the bass, i just want the clarity.

so would either of those work well with my system?
cant afford both.

the CDA-9811 is actually 27wRMS x 4 with the Vdrive amp, just to clarify.

with that Vdrive internal amp I'd definately go for the component set in front, no doubt.
that'll make a huge difference.
Look at CDT. good pricing, great separates.
www.thezeb.com has good service and prices on CDT stuff.

ya too bad its gonna cost me $145 to get installed. i went to car toys and they originally told me $125 until i told them i was going to buy online and then they upd up the price. Of course they'd prefer that i pay twice as much for the components there, insisting that i should not "trust online products".

I don't know what to choose.

Which of these components are better?

The alpine TYPE R or the JL XR

Which of these has a louder sound and a great clean sound?

Please help me.
