when people say trickle battery chargers and it says 6-12v does thatmean i cound recharge my car battery?

off-hand, not sure of any batteries that are 13 volts? almost all car batteries are 12v, (you can tell, by checking when the vehicle is off...It might read higher when running, but htat's due to your alternator behing a higher voltage.) Not saying a 13v battery dosnt exist... But a 12v charger wont be able to charge a true 13v battery...the voltage needs to be higher in order for the battery to take any charge.

Andrew, are you talking about solar chargers or nicad? Don't use chargers designed for nicad or home use. Your car battery will need a stronger charger than that.

A trickle charger is meant for a car/boat/rv that's being stored for a long period of time. They're only meant to maintain the battery. If you need to recharge a dead battery use a real battery charger.
