please help, i don't know anything about cars or alarms- ( no dumb blonde jokes now). On cold nights after my car has been sitting a couple of hours the alarm goes off. After i reset it the led blinks 3x indicating a left door attempt. I know noone has tried breaking in to it. It didnt do this when the weather was warm. Any solution to my porblem would be helpful. Thanx,
kristin

2 blonds and a priest walks into a bar...
Just kidding.
Does the alarm go off every time it's cold?
Where/when was the alarm installed? Is it still under warrany?
Check the alarm sensors or connectors. There's a chance it could be loose or the contacts/switch on the doors are rusting/shorting out. If you look at the door frame, you will see a small switch with rubber boot. That is the one that tells the onboard computer whether the door is closed or open.
