I was wondering if i could fire my subs up even though they were built to fire back towards the trunk. I drive a Jeep Cherokee and lose some SQ when they are firing back. There is a wire that would be pushed down, but i think that it would be alright. The ports would be facing up then. Would i lose some power if i put them up or would it be pretty much the same? Also, would this hurt the subs at all. they are 2 RF T1's in a 4 cubic ft box.

i know a guy that competes in a jeep cherokee...i know that he is louder w/ the subs/ports firing back than when he fires them forward.

will the wire be a speaker wire?

also, if you rebuild your box and try one that has the subs firing up and the ports firing back...it will prolly be louder and may sound better. (hatchbacks and SUV style vehicles like this kinda box)
