I just got two 12" W6, and was wonderering all the options on wiring them. They are 6.8 ohm or so a piece with dual voice coils i think. is there a way to get them to 2 or 1 ohm? thanks.

Wire the subs in parallel to achieve a 1 ohm load so that your 1 ohm stable amp can power them up.

Just wire the positive to positive and negative to negative on each sub and thats it.

I have 2 jl 12w6v2's in the prowedge box and they sound amazing with my crossfire vr1000d amp

Just make sure the amp is stable at 2 ohm.

I whould look into JBL or Audiobahn or the EDNINE amp over the hifonics brutus 1500d if you cant afford a better amp.

Check out ebay for like older Orion XTR amps / that whould be your best bet for a quality amp for cheap.
