I just bought 2 new 10" pioneer subs with a bandpass dual enclosed box today since my stuff got jacked last week, and ever since im running two subs to my 600watt kenwood amp my bass, if turned up past 3/4 or so on the volume (in my car), goes out, then comes back on for a bit and then goes out again including the light on my amp. Is this cause my amp is getting too hot and then shorting out to stop over heating? Ive turned my switch down for the "power" going to the subs to 0 and it still happens. even with my car audio bass on 0. Will i need a bigger amp? a fan or somethingto cool the one i currently have? some advice would be great
if u have da amp iam usin its do 2 u got ur ohms 2 low cause i had my kennwood amp @ 2ohms an it was doin the same an its do from the ohms an the amp is gettin 2 hot do u got a pic of ur amp or w/e casue if it gets 2 hot it will come on an go out
