i'm thinking of buying a pair of alpine type r's, prolly 12". but before i do i just wanna know a bit more about a couple terms. would it be better for me if i bought subs that were svc or dvc? why? and does a higher ohm rating=better sound or the other way around??
i think the type Rs only come in dual 2 or 4 ohm. If you have an amp that puts out 1000 watts at 1ohm get two dual 4ohm subs. if it puts out 1000watts at 2ohm get two dual 2ohm subs.
