Power cap wiring

Hi guys,
I have a power cap to fit and multiple amplifiers.
Do I fit 2 rings to the + of the cap, taking one from the battery and one to the + distribution block? (ie in line with the positive feed)
Or do I just take the battery feed to the distribution block, and connect the cap like an amp, with 1 wire to + of the cap. (parallel?)
In both cases, I presume it is safe just to run the negative to the - dist. block?
Thanks in advance

Battery > Cap > DB > Amp(s) > Sub(s)
+12v to capacitor (precharged) with a seperate ground. +12v from capacitor to distribution block. distribution block to amps, using a seperate ground distribution block for the amps. don't share the ground for the amps/cap
