I got a question about installing tweeters into my 2dr Integra. I would like to do a install that doesnt modify the door panels severely. I have seen installers place the tweeters in the bottom front corner of the window (in that black triangle). I wanted to know if it is common for installers to just drill into the stock black piece or if they put a fitting over it? Also where would I get such a thing?

that small black panel is called the "sail panel".

just drill a hole to mount the tweeter to it.

Do they make custom sail panels that can replace the stock ones? Because I think that the last car I had, had custom ones.

haha, imo they are leagues better than kicker.:-)

i paid about $160 for the 2-way comp set, and they sound amazing, and get very loud for only 50wRMS comps.

my stage could be better.

it was really good when i did the Auto TA on my HU with the Mic it comes with that you clip on your headrest, but it lost a lot of general volume when doing that. but i ended resetting the HU, so i will need to do it again.
