i've got a 10" kenwood KFC-W3009 sub max 700w w/ a cheapo 600w amp. i'm trying to fit it into the back of a jeep wrangler w/ about 9" depth of trunk space. i wanna build a ported box @ 1.5 cu ft.... but the recommended depth by kenwood is like 14#. can i make it shallower but wider? also, can i move the port to the side? will either of these effect the loudness?
when moving the port can i stick it to the side all the way down in the corner?
i've got good quality bass coming out of my other speakers, so i just want the LOUDEST box i can build for this. will this box work?
