hey everyone.

Just wondering if 2 15" Kicker L7s (1000wrms each) will be more powerful (pound more) then 5x12" Infinitys @ 300wrms each (1500wrms total).

Basically im asking this because i know the kickers put out more wattage but the infinity system moves more air etc with more subs.

Also what would be a good amp/s for the kicker system. I have good prices on the KX series of kicker amps which would work best with these subs?

lol well the 5 12"s will sound alot better than the L7 15"s but as far as which will be louder i would have to say the kickers even though there is only 2 of them.

if you want a hard hitting 15" sub look into the RE MT (anywhere from 1500-??rms) or even 2 RE SX's (1000 rms each) id stay away from kickers if you want SQ.

In reality, 5 12's is going to be louder. Don't know where you are going to have room for all of those though.....

Bye Bye Trunk.lol
That's what I did. Now I have 8 12" Infinitys, ported in 2 seperate 8 cu.ft. boxes, tuned to 33hz, running @ 2ohms off a DEI Viper D2500.1

It gets ..LouD..
Wonder what kinda dB's I'm hitting...

ya the 5 12's will be louder thats way more inches of air being moved. the 15's would be deeper though.
