Through various tweaks and upgrades in my jeeps stereo i have a stack of RF 301m amps.

What are the drawbacks of splitting a stereo signal into two mono amps?
Two scenarios:
Splitting each side; right and left and sending one right and one left to each amp

or
Sending the right channel to one amp and the left channel to the other amp.

Dual mono is awesome....offers the best possible seperation....but wire it so that the signal for the right goes to one amp and the right amp delivers it's signal to the right speaker...same for left...dont cross them wires.

thanks...after drawing up the pictures i didnt think the split signal to both amps would work...

I think that having each amp imbedded in each door so the red glow of Rockford Fosgate would be cool...just have to remove some sheet metal...and mount...and run long wires...

You're planning to install the amp on the door panel??
Did you know that when it rains, it gets wet in there? You will cause a short and burn out the amp. Not a good move.
Why are the output wires crossed from each amp to the speakers?

Door is sealed (found out your concern the hard way when i burned out a crossover...)

One amp is wired for left channel amplifying and one amp is wired for right channel amplifying.

So one wire runs from each amp to each speaker set.
