How can you tell how much DB you system has?? Does it depend on the RMS? If it is how much DB for 1120 RMS??

You gotta go to a local shop or a local comp and get it metered. It doesn't really depend on your RMS.

You can also by a cheap meeter at radioshack... but its not as acurate as a TL, and they only go to like 130DB's.

There are to many factors that go into your system to tell how many db's youll hit by just your equipment. Find a local comp or a local shop that has a termlab meter and ask them how much to meter your system.

Your enclosure is probably going to be the biggest factor, and probably the cheapest component in your system ironically. (< amps, subs, speakers, HU, etc...)

There is no cut and dry formula to determine how loud your system will get.
