Ok, I get that the kicker L7 has a cast basket and higher power handling. I guess my question is this: does the cast basket make an enormous difference as far as spl numbers go? Right now I'm looking at going with 2 12" l5s or 2 10" l7s. Glasswolf seems to be the resident knowledge guru, but I'm just curoius, in everyone's opnion, does the basket make that much of a difference?
Well yes and no the basket dose make the sub a little more rigged and powerfull but 2 10's cant push as much air as 2 15's no matter what but if its in a hatch back you could probly go either way to get some good sound

I know that looks confusing but it's actually 2 12" L5s. Sorry. I'm basically trying to understand what exactly the basket benefits...the sound quality, the spl output, etc. Thanks.
