Ok, so I got my subwoofers fixed or so I think. MUCH louder clearer bass at lower volumes ( again, these are 2 RE12's and a Kicker 450.2). I have the gain and bass boost set about halfway up or so. The problem is though when I turn the volume of my CD player up to about half of what I normally listen to it at the amplifier goes into protect and the subs stop playing, what could be causing that?

it could be because your subs are still broke...i know my did the same thing when they blew
