I need to know what kind of box would be best for my new system...1 JL AUDIO E1800D MONOBLOCK CLASS D AMP 2-ALPINE SWX-1042D TYPE X 10" SUBs...also suggestions of what accessories i need to power this system(gauge of amp kit,?farad cap, HO alt...etc. etc.) thanks for the help!
2 10" Xs would sound really good in a sealed box. but if u want alot of spl do a ported box with a pretty big slot port. Im very happy with my X's very clean sounding and pleanty loud.
you might have a problem if you are getting 2 10s and that amp because the amp puts out 800 watts at 2ohm and with the dual 4ohm subs you need an amp that is 1ohm stable with at least 1600 watts...however if you only get 1 10 u will be fine with that setup...probably 4 gauge wire will work not positive however
