they will be debuted in November at SEMA.
no one know what kind of motor topology is being used, power handling, or price for that matter, the guestimate is around $100 more for the new one.

sure does look sweet.

me neither... the new XXX is going to be insane... i think in about 6 months i might run 1 15 off of 2 JL 1000/1s ... that would be sick. or actually maybe 2 zapco 750.2s idk its a long way away. right now i just want my 15 SX... i just got back from a cruise. is the RE group buy off?

Yeah looks like 7 cuz the resolution difference.

I once described girl the size of my stuff in a similiar fashion. Thought i was huge lol then i realized there was a resolution difference and felt stupid.

i called RE today cuz i got two holes in my spider on my RE SX 12 and i asked him about the new X.X.X and he couldnt tell me anything about except it will be released at the SEMA show in Las Vegas on NOV 2-4. he also said they have about 3 new subs to release including the new X.X.X. he said it would cost a lil more than the old X.X.X model but thats all i could get out of him, he said he couldnt say anymore incase the info on the sub would be diff when it actually comes out

oh yeah and it will not be produced in a 10 inch size subwoofer becuz the new motor structure is too big so its only gonna be in a 12 15 and 18.

SX10- $239
SX12- $249
SX15- $269
SX18- $309

does anyone know the rms on this line and would u reccomend these?

the RMS is rated at 1000w.

they get very loud, but they lack in the SQ department as opposed to other subs that you could feed 1000watts. but that is not to say they don't sound good. they just wouldn't be used for a SQ application.

Mike,It's your call here.I personally own xxx ported ,I am very happy with it,But I probably would be just as happy with the IDmax,I hear that the IDMax sounds a little better and we all know it's more efficiant. But on the other hand I would be willing to bet that the xxx will be higher spl with the propper power pushing it.

You can count on it.I heard those Treo's in a comp car 300zx with two ssx's,powered by two Usamps usa400's Sounded great but thats not all,I felt air push from that car as I got out and stood maybe three feet away. It on the floor at AudioNutz where I buy alot of my stuff,Oh yeah I forgot to mention all the trophy's next to that car.

Dropp, how much better overall would an RE 12.1 amp and a SX12 in a ported box be over a Power acoustik 880 RMS amp and2 12" power acoustik FUBR's in a sealed box???

"Hey Muddy< I emailed you earlier,I'm down 200 past 484,Florida Highlands"

cool, my internet was screwed up last night, so i couldn't check my email. lol

i would say go with the IDMAX if you are looking for more SQ over SPL, but they do get very loud.
