Hey guys I got a problem. I am hooking up my system. I just made one box and have my 10 inch sub in there. I want to hook that up to amp just to see if it works. THeres an extra blue wire and we dont know if its the ground or not. If theres no ground what do we need. How many wires is there to connect to the amp? The guy I got my car from ripped his system out and left all the wires. I need help ASAP. Quick replys please, thanks.
If it's a really thin blue wire (18awg or so) it's the remote wire. You'll have a Ground wire (-), Power/12volt wire (+), remote wire, a set of RCA's (plug into the amp and obviously the speaker wire you'll be running from the sub.
