i was just wondering if a set a JL audio xr 6 1/2" components with around 70 watts rms would sound better than a set of the 2005 infinity kappa 6 1/2" components with around 100 watts rms. The difference in power is due to the fact that the JL are 4 ohm, and the kappas are 2 ohm, so i could get more power to the kappas, but i dont know if that will make them sound better.

In all reality......the more Clean power the better.......i am throwing 120watts rms to XR coaxils......rated at 70watts rms. also the XR's will be louder and cleaner if setup right. just make sure you set those crossovers up right....and you should notice a big difference in loudness and quality!!

so, since it would be the same amp, are you saying the xr's with slightly less power will sound better than infinity kappas with slightly more power
