Deciding between two amps. Help please

I currently have Boss Riot RT1500 which I swear is not really spitting out 800 watts at 2 ohms. I know, they post the max as their RMS. SAve $ & then buy like a Kicker ,RF, Orion , JBL or if u really can't spend much try Hifonics amps
Robert Silver Member Username: Robert_d MIA, FL USA Post Number: 163 Registered: Sep-05	Posted on Wednesday, October 05, 2005 - 20:25 GMT really there horrible companies go with kicker mtx rockford amps ... those are popular companies which make good amps if u can afford jl or orion go with them if u can afford any of those hifonics is pretty decent for the money but there overrated so ull have to get a higher rms amplifier than you would of regularly gotten im not sure but there around 26% overrated ... does that sound right people ?

James G Silver Member Username: James_g TN Post Number: 287 Registered: Jul-05	Posted on Thursday, October 06, 2005 - 06:48 GMT Orion is actually just as cheap, or cheaper, than the Kicker amps. The 1200D generally sells for less than the KX1200.1. They certainly aren't as expensive as JL amps.
