made some homemade sloppy vented boxes to jl specs (gonna buy some real ones soon)... and wow... i didnt think porting subs would make that big of a difference but it did... and i mean a hugggge difference in spl... its a lot louder than sealed, the SQ didnt seem to be hurt to bad other than the fact everything rattles worse lol... any1 know if fatmat deadener is worth it?
also, what does tuning a ported box do, how huge of a gain do u make spl/sq tuning a box... im not sure how to do that either? i kno it deals with port size, but thats about it...
